About Ali
Alison Cleary, otherwise known as Ali Nightingale, is an aspiring singer-songwriter and music producer from Buffalo, NY. Alison has always had a strong passion for music and performing. At seventeen years old, she composed and recorded her first original song. After graduating high school, she went on to further her craft in college. Alison majored in vocal performance and minored in digital music production. She focused on improving her singing while simultaneously honing her music production skills. She graduated in May 2021 with her Bachelor of Arts degree.
Currently, Alison is working on producing and publishing her original music. Her overall style reflects pop, indie, and a dash of contemporary folk music. However, she is not afraid to experiment with other genres occasionally. Her lyrics come straight from her heart and convey personal and relatable messages. Her primary musical influence is Taylor Swift, whom she has admired ever since she was ten years old. She also cites many other artists including BTS, Billie Eilish, Adele, Ed Sheeran, The Plain White T’s, and Carole King.
Alison released her debut single, “Lone Wolf,” in August 2021. From there, she went on to release many other songs. Her current repertoire includes “Conflicted” – her very first song; a pop ballad about feeling lost and anxious – as well as her latest single, an acoustic love ballad titled “Dear Future Lover.” As a proud member of the label HRDRV (pronounced “Hard Drive”) since 2022, Alison hopes to reach out to and connect with her audience through her music.
